2020 has been a year of slowing down and going back to basics.
This year, working from home has been challenging for the nature of our job. But over time, I am thankful that we found ways to overcome the challenges, complete important work tasks and still serve our children and youth, despite the bulk of it being done remotely.
Having all activities limited due to social distancing was frustrating at first but got me to think more about engaging in simple daily activities which bring joy. Working from home also brings to my attention to the need of resting and recharging, so that I can continue to give my best to the people I serve - be it now or in the near future.

Your Rest Matters
2020 may have been a series of ups and downs, but one thing's for sure - your rest matters.
Check out our mini art jamming session that helped us to recharge:
Senior Social Worker Gwen Ho led us in the art jamming session. Many staff shared that they wish to visit the beach to Rest and Recharge.
What's one thing that helps you to recharge? 😉
