📌 Provide adult supervision for children to commute using public transport between home and school/SHINE centres.

Key Responsibilities:
📌 Provide adult supervision for children to commute using public transport between home and school/SHINE centres.
📌 Willing to serve as a positive and friendly adult figure who can befriend and check-in with the children during their commute home.
Role Requirements:
📌 Current SHINE volunteers who have served at least 6 months.
📌Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
📌 No certifications/ qualifications required
📌 Minimum 18 years of age and able to sign up in male-female pairings e.g. married couples, retired couples
📌 Companies are also welcome to have their staff supporting this
📌 Comfortable befriending children
📌 Commitment up to 2 weeks depending on the needs below:
Current Needs:
Assignment #1
📌 Daily mornings, up to 2 weeks
📌 Travel to schools in the towns of Clementi or Hougang
Assignment #2
📌 School holidays (day time)
📌 Travel to SHINE Centres in the towns of Clementi or Hougang, for programmes
Assignment #3
📌 Daily weekday afternoon commitment up until early March 2023. Flexible arrangements can be discussed
📌 Able to travel commute in the afternoon with children on public transport from Tampines (Home) to Hougang (School)
Support Given:
📌 Frequent check in to garner feedback
📌 Volunteer will be given social worker's contact number in the event of any challenges or emergencies.
