School Holiday Dream Makers

📌 You play an important role in enabling SHINE to engage children and youth during the school holidays, to build a bridge to them so we can continue to work with them to maximize their potential.

📌 To assist the team in the planning and execution of holiday programmes for our services users e.g. Enhanced Step Up programme (ESU).

📌 ESU is an Ministry of Social & Family Development (MSF)-funded programme targeted at children and youth with poor school attendance. Some of our ESU clients have low affiliation with their schools are not gainfully engaged when not in school.

Regular (Regularly, 3 months and above);

Project (Regularly, 1-3 months)

Key Responsibilities:

📌Assist the team in the planning and executing of holiday programmes during these period: Sept, December

📌Ability to independently plan and run of the activities under the guidance and support from the team would be an advantage

📌 To be able to conduct circle-time during activities to facilitate participant's learning

📌 Observe during activities to ensure safety

Role Requirements:

📌 At least 18 years old

📌 Students from tertiary educational institutions or corporates who are keen to take this up under Staff Welfare and sponsor a learning session are also welcome.

📌 Able to commit during the school holidays

📌 Preferably able to conduct sports-*related activities and interest-based workshops (baking, slime-making, tap-dancing, magic, bicycle repair etc)

📌 Enjoys working with children and youth

Support Given:

📌 Close support and guidance from the team in the planning and execution of activities

📌 Activity budgeting

📌 Staff members will be present during activities
