01 WATCH OUT! DON'T GET BURNT!
Targeted at increasing awareness of burnout and it's prevention, the talk introduces the concept of burnout through 3Rs: Recognising signs and symptoms, Reversing the adverse state and Resilience building.
02 CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH
The talk reintroduces a common concept, STRESS, to all. Get familiar with the 3 types of stress [Positive, Tolerable, Toxic] and be equipped with relevant strategies and avenues to manage them.
03 MANAGING TRANSITIONS
Transitions are necessary but can be intimidating for some. This talk hopes to ease Primary 6 students into the first transition in their academic journey through providing insights on potential changes and avenues to seek support.
04 OUR MENTAL STATES
Knowing our mental states can help us better care for our mental health. This talk will bring us through the 4 different mental states and ways to safeguard our mental health.
05 LET'S MAKE IT WORK
Being able to articulate our needs is an important skill to bring with us into the workplace. Join us as we dive into ways to communicate our needs effectively and pick up strategies to care for our mental wellbeing!
06 POSITIVE PEER SUPPORT
Peers are those we see the most in school. Let us breed a culture of positive peer support together, as we learn about the basis of peer support through 4Rs: Recognize distress, Relate with care, Render support and Refer for Help
07 MENTAL HEALTH & SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media is an interesting but potentially dangerous platform! Let us equip ourselves with healthy mental health practices to safeguard our mental wellbeing and create a healthier space together.
08 YMH RESOURCES IN THE DIGITAL AGE
Had enough of scavenging through the web for resources? Join us as we navigate online resources and information with the 3S - Seek, Sieve and Sense-making. Be equipped with the skills to find the right resources and to care for your mental wellness in the digital age!
09 PROJECT UNWIND
There are so many ways we can practice self-care, and the simplest way would be to start with our 5 senses. Let’s gather and hear and share about the different modes of self-care we engage in!
